I'm not particularly fond of doing laundry....
all the sorting, bending, folding, and putting away.
But I do love hanging laundry outside to dry.
Why is that?
It certainly isn't a quicker process.
It takes more time to hang clothes than to throw them into the dryer.
I think part of it is saving money on electricity.
The other part is I love the smell of fresh hung laundry.
Do you?

I love to hang my laundry too...every time I smell fresh line dried sheets I think of my Nana and Granpa's home in Manitoba Canada. Every Monday night that is what I smelled when I went to bed...even in the winter! Nana would hang them on the line and then Grandpa would bring them in later all frozen and bend them over the tops of the doors so they could thaw and finish drying. Love it.

Hi Nancy~ Glad you found my blog :o) I too just love the smell of laundry dried on the line - nothing better than sheets dried in the sun (like today!). I'm enjoying reading your blog and love the pictures!
